Was the dragon Kamiko? Was the dragon an inhabitant of the Shadow Realm? Was all of that a plot from Shadow realm's creatures? I don't know who said that and I don't know why he said that. Then a dragon comes out, then someone says "THAT'S MY GIRL". Kamiko suggested that her solution would've changed both worlds so that surely didn't mean dying. His plan was to seal shut the gate to the Shadow Realm. What I managed to understand is that 1) that won't be Kamiko's death (she didn't have a resigned tone so she wasn't planning on sacrificing herself) and 2) that wasn't what Mezu had wanted. To use her powers to "seal the gates open". I don't know if this meant Kamiko could never reclaim her body, but what happened next. Since she was merged with Kamik's body, Ameonna probably lost her immortality there. Maybe it was her plan all along, maybe it was her sanity coming back at the very end, I don't know.Īnyway, after seeing that, Kamiko asked Wang to kill Ameonna, probably out of pity. In the end, though, all she wanted was to die. Now we know that that last event was the last straw in driving Ameonna crazy, that's why that big change of her attitude between the two games. Ameonna cried her loss, and the rain started to fall again. So Lo Wang killed the demon lord, but Hoji died too. The weapon's power was so that i could kill whoever immortal demon who even touched it. In the end, Hoji sacrificed himself by picking the Nobitsura Kage and giving it to Lo Wang. The Demon Lord (can't remember his name) discovered that and exiled Hoji after taking away his memories. She became happy, but the land started to wither. It all started when Hoji - supposedly - fell in love with her, and it was the same for her. She was doomed to an eternal crying and weeping as her tears became the rain that nurtured the Demon realm. Same gates act as a barrier between the world and the Shadow Realm (which is supposedly another plane kinda like Earth and the Demon Realm) because Ameonna forfeited her role as a gate guardian.Īlthough it came a bit too late in the game, this is an addition to SW2013's plot: whoever played it knows that the Demon Realm was prospering because of Ameonna's tears. I know Mezu wanted to "consume" Kamiko's soul to seal the gates. You could tell Hoji's death was still an open wound for Lo Wang).Īnyway, I didn't understand at all what happened at the ending. Kamiko said "What?" and he answered "nothing". I was hoping she would eventually see beyond all that sarcasm, which seemed the case as the game went on (biggest hint was that remark about Hoji he made after picking up the Blade of the Exile - Hoji's weapon. Lo Wang is still Lo Wang after all, and I liked that kind of bond that was built with Kamiko. It's not to say it's a bad game, it's not to say I don't feel it's above the average of nowadays FPS games. Then the SW 2013 game came out, and I was overjoyed after playing it in seeing it was well worthy of the franchise in a world filled by flat FPS games (compared to the oldschool ones) with secrets to find, a lot of action, and a solid plot. I am an oldschool gamer and I played the old '90s Shadow Warrior game by 3D Realms. Hi, I was about to open a discussion myself about this.
